That is her calf which at this time of year we keep all gates open so all the pastures are available to the cows. Sometimes if not always the cow goes down oneside and the calf the other side of the fence. Its the youngest calf at 2 weeks old were as most are 4 months of age or better. Don't know who posted this, but it's very striking. I also like the poignancy of the suggestion that the fence is keeping mother and calf apart (or is that another adult? - it looks like a calf).
