My place on the bench where I sit reading and sunbathing, both favourite pastimes. The clematis is placed in the shot not for tacky reasons, but because it grows next to where I sit, and I love looking at it.
Sometimes I have a quick look to see what's been added to the thumbnails, but don't have time to look at the larger images to take in the detail. This means it might be days, even weeks before I can get a good look at all the shots. This is one of those images that doesn't work so well as a thumb, I guess cause it's quite detailed. But it fits the theme very well and is nicely composed. Regards Paul
I should have said so earlier, but I think this is the best photo in the gallery so far, on the basis of sincerity, originality, composition, and color. - Warren
Hi Shelby, thanks for the comments. Strangely, the book was written by an Argentinian (won some literary prize) and translated into English: it's about an Argentinian student in Oxford UK who helps solve a series of murders, the clues to which are mathematical - it's quite intriguing...Regarding Morse, I enjoy him too, not least because I live in Oxford. You're my only comment now as I pulled this picture, then changed my mind and put it back.
Anyway, many thanks again.
Flick.
Ah Flick, now thats what I would like to do, your shot really conveys that so well. Your choice of reading material takes me to how well I enjoy the English mysteries. I am a fan of several of your TV series, Inspector Morse, etc, we just don't get that fine quality produced here.
Best regards,
Shelby
