BRIDGEPORT, CT - On October 6, 2004, fire ripped across the rear porch of a six-family home located at 601 Brooks St. Fire companies from the City’s East Side were dispatched to the fire at around 20:20hrs. The fire started on the rear third floor porch and damaged the overhang and 3rd floor apartment. An aggressive attack kept the fire to the rear room on the 3rd floor. Twenty-five people were displaced and the fire was ruled to be arson by Fire Department Inspector Len Bonaventura.
