BRONX, NY - At approximately 11:50 a.m. on May 23, Bronx Box 3896 sounded for a fire in a private dwelling. First in Bronx companies found heavy fire conditions on the first floor of a 2 ½ private dwelling. The structure was located at 4271 Carpenter Avenue @ E 236 Street. The fire went to an all hands before going under control.
