Battling? Beryl

At the Vineyard for a couple days, and wasn't sure what to expect with tropical storm Beryl supposed to hit 3 hours ago. Just starting to spit rain, the wind is picking up and the surf, even at low tide is sounding ominous. The general consensus in the Leaf household is that it's not going to be as bad as the forcast. We'll see.

I'd rather be sailing :)

We lost a lot of trees around here the other night - hopefully you guys don't get it too bad up there. But when the wind is picked up like that, it's awesome sailing!

Great image Karen. and 'I'd rather be sailing' brings back fond memories coming from a sailing family. We raced E Scows, and some 'C's on inland lakes in Ohio. Every been on or heard of Scows?
