Trying to sort thru Fair stuff, and messing around with layers.
Quick instructions on how to get the corners so they kind of fade into the layer placed above it??

Nice arrangement.
To do the fade I usually create a layer mask for the upper layer. Select the mask in the layers pallet. Paint with black using a soft brush the area you want to show through, 20% or so opacity to get fine control. It takes some practice. You can also use a layer sandwich. Make a copy of the upper layer and put it below the lower layer (sandwich). Then change the upper layer's opacity to allow the middle layer to show through where they overlap. The sandwich keeps the upper layer from fading out where they don't overlap. These methods assume that the image layers are transparent in the area that shows as black in your image.
