This lens' optics were later used as an AF version, "Minolta's first non-constant aperture zoom lens".
[This lens is TOKINA's OEM lens, Minolta itself has never made non-constant aperture zoom lens.??]

Note: This is the second version, the first one has 13 grp / 16 elm optic, macro mode at any zoom range.
Also this second 14 element version was said "in house design"....
