This organ was built in 1969 - 1970 by Robert Noehren. Noehren (1910 - 2001), a Buffalo native, was a revered concert organist and recording artist who taught at the University of Michigan for many years. Seriously interested in organ design, he built a modest number of organs over the years. A notable feature of this one in the division in the center (in front of the window); it is hanging from the ceiling. Former organist Squire Haskin was a close friend of Noehren and he was responsible for the acquisition of this organ.
