This was the year I took a position with the state Department of Corrections, and started at Sing Sing Prison. Then I transferred to Attica, and the prison riot came along. Going through that and the aftermath, I realized I didn't want to do that for the next twenty-five or thirty years; Jennifer and I discussed it, and we decided I should go back to school.
