Berlin MD is one of those towns off US 50, that sadly is considered nothing more than a "blow by" town on the way to Ocean City. Sadly because it is such a historical, interesting town. Pictured is the old Globe Theater, which dates from the silent picture days of the 1900's, and remained a theater through the 1960's. The building was closed for the next twenty years or so, and was eventually remodeled into the restaurant-bar you see here, however, it's status as an entertainment venue survives, with the Globe presenting a varied schedule of movies, live music, and Murder Mystery Dinners.
