In August 2006, three of us travelled to Rimouski to dive the Empress of Ireland.
These are some shots taken over the 3 days of diving the Empress of Ireland. We had three calm days - on the third day the water was eerily flat with some swells. But the visibility was much better than last year.
I dove with Andre and Greg during the first two dives - a trip to the bow and a trip to the stern. On the third day, I elected to dive with Dany St-Cyr to get a tour of the Grand Staircase (or what is left of it), the lifeboat, a return to the bow for a photo of the letters and back to the midship buoy, where we found Greg just hanging around.
