London

(Unknown Artist)

"TV has made going to the theatre seem pointless,
Photography has pretty much killed painting,
but Graffiti remains gloriously unspoilt by progress."

BANKSY - Graffiti Artist
(from the book "Wall and Piece")

Banksy is in my opinion one of the most creative, clever, famous and brilliant Graffiti Artist

The texture on the wall is great, but I like the whole composition. The view into the street is great.

Good stuff Kim - I bought the book the other week - I didn't realise my shot was one of his until someone pointed it out in the comments to that shot you linked to. If only more of our graffiti was stuff like his and less of it was brainless tagging the city would be a better place for everyone.

I miss the graffiti art from when I lived in New York.
This is a good reminder.
Please see the work of Jose Canovas, not Banksky but... well take a look:

Si bien vu et composé ! (Ce doit être une tribu matriarcale qui a fait le graph: c'est la femme qui chasse et l'homme qui...!;)
Bien vu également pour la citation et les liens. Je me permets d'en donner d'autres que j'aime beaucoup:

I like the comp here Kim. The rough texture of the ageing wall too takes my eye.

Wonderful. :-)

Agree, he brings much wit and interest to otherwise boring walls.

Keep it urban, Kim!

Great find (and composition)! I love graffiti... -- but this 'tribal' style is new to me....

Banksy class!

this is a great concept Kim,it is always eye catching. I shot some graffiti under a bridge last week but thought it too political and drug orientated to post. i might have a re think, great story.

I`m always on the hunt looking for graffitis! This one comes with an archaic approach! Thanks for the links!
