Although there is no information about these series of houses, I could estimate the background of them by some of its characteristics. Firstly, there is a plate with Chinese Letters on the door of house in right hand side. Obviously, it is a shop in the lower storey of the house. In the common practice of Chinese merchants, they used the front section of lower storey for their shop and the other section is used for living area or warehouse.
