TRUMPETER SWAN WITH WING TAGS

Trumpeter Swan picture showing the large wing tags that the birds often have. These tags can ruin a picture, but I guess whoever is tagging the swans is only trying to help this magnificent species.

Yes, the trumpeters are being reintroduced in Ontario. The tags help to keep track of the number of trumpeters that are in the Province and also to follow their travels.
