Macquarie Lightstation,
which is also known as South Head Upper Light, is Australia’s
oldest lighthouse (built 1818 and rebuilt 1883) and is located
high on the ridge in Macquarie Road, Vaucluse, Sydney, NSW.
The lighthouse was designed by the architect Francis Greenway.
