“Paris # 1” bonefish flat,
is well known on Kiritimati, as being where big schools of
bonefish congregate around the full and new moon phases.
I arrived at Kiritimati on Wednesday 13 August, 3 days after
the full moon and I left on Wednesday 27 August, two days
after the new moon. The schools were hanging around at
“Paris No 1” ﴾circled﴿ on both occasions. The island in the
centre of the photo is Cook Island and the land at the end
of the peninsula to the right of it is the site of London Village.
