It was a very spiritual trip for me. Probably one of the best trips I have had. Himalaya - the word means abode of snow and ice. I had heard that the views from the flights in and out of Leh had the most scenic views. Once I was on board, looking out of the window, I had to get my camera ready for the last glimpse of Shangri-La and my favorite Himalaya mountains. As soon as the plane took off, I was clicking continously for the next 30-40 minutes, until the clouds covered everything. With the sun peeaking through the clouds on and off, I was able to get shots of various things from the huts and houses at the ground level to stark mountains, valleys, glaciers, crater formations, heavenly view of the mountain tops till the very end to the cloud cover.
