Hello Fujieda san !
Thank You for sharing so many fine photographs. I found your pages when I was searching
high quality portraits. I like your photographs very much. Especially your model named Yayoi san is beautiful indeed. In result I bought a Sigma DP1 recently. I am so pleased with the Foveon Chip. Greetings from Germany, Chris

Hi Maro,

Thank you for sharing your Sigma tests and other great photos. I learned a lot from you photos.

I really want to buy an SD14, but it is difficult to find Sigma Camera and Sigma Mount Lenses in Australia. Yes, there are plenty of Sigma lenses for Canon, Nikon and Pentax in Australia, but I've never seen any for Sigma mount here.

I love Japan, and I often come to Japan, so maybe next time I will look for Sigma gear in Japan. Is it is easy to find Sigma gear in camera shops in Japan?

Kind Regards,

James

Hi Frank

Honestly or frankly speaking, 24-60mm F2.8 EX DG is better than 24-70mm or 17-70mm DC.
But the difference between 17-70mm is not so big. I do not recommend 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO. This lens is not so good as price. One of the old design.

Which is better? 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC MACRO or 24-60mm F2.8 EX DG.

If you are not going to 35mm full-size, I mean you will be an SD user,
I recommand you 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 MACRO. Only one thing just I do not
like on this lens is color aberration.

Hello Maro,
I need a little help to make a decision. I want to buy a good all-around lens for my SD10 camera. I've read many tests of the Sigma 24-70EX and the 17-70DC, but i want to know how the 24-60EX performs. I know it's not a popular lens but the quality maybe as good as the 17-70DC or the 24-70EX (and less expensive). I prefer the EX series but so many people told me that 17-70DC is better. How can a DC lens perform better?

Thank You,
Frank
