The Wrong Biennale, a globally recognized art event, is set to host its 2025 and 2026 edition, continuing a tradition of showcasing bold and decentralized creativity.
Founded in 2013 as an independent, non-profit, and decentralized initiative, The Wrong Biennale has evolved into a multi-stranded international phenomenon.
Over the past decade, it has become a pivotal reference in the digital art landscape, having featured over 10,000 artists across more than 800 curated pavilions on every continent.
For the upcoming 2025 edition, I'm hosting a new pavilion, Moons, Castles, Trees, which is currently inviting global submissions (deadline for submissions is 15th of September).
The exhibition seeks still imagery that engages with the theme of Artificial Intelligence.
Artists can draw inspiration from three nouns and three verbs found in Cinnamon Horses by Nick Cave - which inspired me to do the photo above - showing a cinnamon horse under a strawberry moon.
Artists can submit up to six images. The pavilion aims to provide long-term visibility for contributing artists, as it will remain live and freely viewable for at least five years.
For more information and to learn how to participate, please visit the Copenhagen Chronotopes Art Gallery website.
