Note the bookcase to the right. We took the darker color from the lower third of the wall and made it the background behind the shelves. Howard gave us the idea of using quarter rail/shoe molding to support the shelves, and he let us borrow his totally sweet battery powered nail gun to do the job. Other than Terra shooting a long nail through the side (once), it made the job much more efficient.
