The graves of Duane Allman and Raymond Berry Oakley in Rose Hill. This is actually a restricted area because too many folks were coming in and vandalizing the gravesites. Mementos, bongs and other memorabilia are frequently left behind. Visitors have done so many rubbings of the markers, you could see all sorts of colors of crayon over Duane's name. It's a shame people cannot respect the site so others are not allowed to appreciate it. We did jump the fence, but we did tread lightly making sure we left it no worse for wear. Visitors tip: I was warned by someone in the know that if I saw a white truck at the top of the hill, not to visit, but if there was no truck, proceed with caution.
