South Georgia Island is famous for its wildlife - particularly, the tens of thousands of kings penguins and elephant seals that breed and raise their young there each year. Words can not capture the excitement of being in the middle of a colony of 100,000 king penguins - and we did it twice! However, it was the recently weaned elephant seal pups, or "weaners" as they are affectionately called, who really stole the show.
