I spotted this today while walking in the woods.It was pretty well hidden by lots of tall grass growing around this old dead tree. This fungus measures over a foot across.

great shot - totally love tree fungus. (I keep looking to see if there is a little forest nymph (dryads) hiding between the shelves of the fungus - ready to pop out and wave its magic wand. definite Vote from me on this one!
