The only place I have ever seen wood with such beautiful color is in Colorado.

I think what you have is a bristlcone pine that lives in the medium altitude (7000-9000ft) area. I have found these also in Colorado and have captured some.. They are truly so beautiful.. And you do such a great job with them.. V
