My Dad made this dollhouse for me some 30 years ago and gave it to me for Christmas. I loved it and played with it for years and years. When my daughter was old enough, he freshened it up and gave it to her for Christmas. I became the 2nd mom of a little girl and gave it to her, but she did not show much interest. I have now moved it out and it lives in the garage. It is not used for "make believe" any more but instead holds basktballs, ping pong paddles, shoes, etc. I hate to say it, but I believe that it has reached it's "Childhood's End".
