If you look really closely at the microwave, you can see the
time- 10:29 turn into 10:30. The oven also shows the time.
I was trying to figure out how I can show the passage of time
and I thought this was the best way to reflect it. I see things
visually and measure things visually, either by time or by the
sun in the sky. I can't hear the alarm ring. I depend on time
visually to organize my day. I took this picture in color
then converted it to black and white with a hint of contrast
and desaturated the photo so it looks like an old black
and white photo. It is as if I am deaf every minute of my life.
