Above the beautiful wood doors that serve as the main entry to the church you will see a cast narrative of life and faith in the desert southwest, including the cross and anchor, the iconic saguaro and prickly pear cacti,and even a rendering of the Mission San Xavier del Bac. San Xavier, just south of Tucson, is said to be the finest example of mission architecture in the United States.
