The cotton fields around my town are nearly ready for harvest.
I have been keeping an eye on this one for awhile waiting for a nice sky.
At the same time thinking that the next time I drove by the cotton might be gone
having been stripped and headed for ginning.

What an amazing and, for Oklahoma, unexpected landscape. I didn't have any idea they grow cotton down there. Fabulous processing really makes it come alive. I'm curious, how wide of an angle was this shot at? ~BV~
