This image is posted here for a couple of reasons. I've been speaking in this series of how out-of-scale this freeway project is in comparison to the small town of Crockett. Here, under a near-full moon, we can actually see a few of the hillside homes of this community - through the interchange. Low clouds were moving past the moon during the 25 second exposure.

But I also post this as a test. I discovered that the Canon 5D (used here) has a custom function I wasn't aware of. (this may have had something do do with being a male - and therefore unlikely to actually read directions) I discover 'cf-2' allows a noise reduction filter for shots longer than 1 second. Here is one of my first using this newly discovered tool.
