Cáceres. Palacio del Mayoralgo

This is the palace of the family that made the first entailed estated in the province and one of older in Spain. For this reason the name of the palace
The façade was restored because it was destroyed by a bomb that fell in the Plaza of Santa María in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.
The building has different constructive phases. The side façade and the courtyard, its main façade was made between 15th and 16th century, in this façade stand out twins windows with marble central mullions and the family coat of arms. Under the shield that tell: “Be My Lord a fortress tower for us and the youth will renew like an eagle”. This inscription makes reference to coat of arms to this family, middle eagle and middle tower.

Beautifully lit. Love how the light peeks under the windows and shows the edges of the toof tiles.
The lighting really shows the depth of the windiw to the left of the door.
