Decoration showing the letter "G" for Pau Gil.
The legacy of Paul Gil ran out in 1911 when, in addition to buying the land , had made 10 pavilions : the administration , the surgery room , two smaller halls for 6 awards and nursing . These are the more modernist style pavilions and artistically decorated richer . Work was stopped until 1914 , when they obtained sponsorship for two pavilions .
The second phase started in 1921 under the direction of Domčnech Roura, Domčnech i Montaner´s son , when the City Council provided funding to purchase the space and buildings of the former medieval hospital .
