The Triangle Tower is the distinctive new landmark on the right-bank skyline of Cologne. The high-rise possesses an unusual shape: a Reuleaux triangle comprising three convex sides, in combination with a round core, results in rooms of varying depth. The three segments of the tower’s glass facade vary depending on the climactic conditions. The south face, which is most exposed to wind and sunlight, was constructed as a back-ventilated double facade, while the northwest and southeast faces each have a single shell. The KölnTriangle contains 29 floors and is 103 metres tall. The Sky Event and conference rooms are located on the 28th and 27th floors, and the Panorama platform on the 29th floor is open to the public. The restaurants l’Orange and Mongo’s on the ground floor are also open to the public. The ground floor also contains the reception area, TriangleAtrium and lobby.
