Between 1748 and 1749 in Fussen a building was constructed that, in its own right, is reasonably attractive. However, what makes it one of Fussen's most photographed attractions is the lueftlmalerein on the front. Lueftlmalerein, in case you don't know, is those frescoed facades that you see in the Tuetonic areas of Europe.You cannot walk down Spitelstrasse of Fussen and not notice the dramatic confronting colours. From any angle it's a winner.
