Ronda. Iglesia de Padre Jesús

Originally this church was consecrated to Santa Cecilia and its construction has a close relation to the growth of this area following the Christian conquest (1485). The tower-face shows the two styles of the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th Century. Its ornate doorway, with its lancer arch, has a Gothic feel, whilst the bell-tower preserves a Renaissance flavour.

a well-preserved town that seems to be thriving...attractive scene with the colourful cars offsetting the uniformity of the white buildings..

Another delightful white town, well except for the church tower ;-). Nicely captured! V.

A charming place with the church on the corner and the white facades. Looks like a popular spot. V

Agree with Mark. A delightfully quaint setting not improved by so many cars. Off-street parking would help.

I was going to say the same as Mark... -- beautiful building (and sky), though....

A great little street scene, that you would love to see without any cars and a horse and cart going past. V
