I really like this classic alpine architecture with the decorations and sayings. It reminds me from where my family is from.
The saying on the house: "Here in the most beautiful Alpine World, we have built this house.
God protect this house and country from enemies, envy and strong wind."
How I love these alpine wooden chalets, of all kinds, big and small. What a fine example this is, with the beautiful decorations.
I remember Oeschinsee....the Blue Lake I think.....and teeming with fish.
How cute - the laundry on the line - old country style - I can actually read the words carved in the siding. Makes me feel like packing my suite case and take a trip.
