Hi John

Can I order a picture of me and my sisters at my 40th, with that big bit of chocolate cake! I would quite like one in 5x7 please.

Thanks

Beautiful work on your gymnastics galleries, John! The Birmingham one in particular really caught my eye as the sequence seems to lead the view through the routines from start to finish. Nicely done!

John, First time I have had time to look at your photos for a long time now- really impressed, earlier ones good- latter ones outstanding, particulary (funnily enough!) with the Wimbledon ones! Press Quality.
Keep us the outstanding work. Jhn W

Thanks for the visit and comment in my gallery. I see from your galleries why you chose the 1D, it seems to work well for you. I plan on buying the Mark II in January right after my retirement.

Great job on all you galleries. I love the Deer photo's especially the one where it is grazing in the grass. Looks like you came across it in a field.

Great pics especially of the kids - getting my own computer soon might drop a line from home.

Brilliant! Chose one or two to look at. Then just had to look at some others, and before you are aware of it ,you've seen them all. Please post some more, very very good, and a joy to view.

Say, you have taken some great shots and I got this link from your comment to me on askey.net sony forum as to len's to use in a gym playing volley ball. I have a Sony 717 just new two days ago and have taken gym volley ball shots and they turn out fuzzy, out of focus and the movement of the players shows up real bad. Did you use a tripod of the basketball shots and what settings S/M or what and ISO and other settings? I saw some info but not sure of the tripod etc. Also your comments to me as to the Crystal lens' did now show up so not sure what you had to say there.

Hi,
As you have no messages in your guestbook I thought I would take pitty and be the first one.

great pictures - have forwarded the page address to my contacts in the USA who have requested a picture of me doing a barani and a picture of me going upside down. I realise the latter may be difficult for you, but the 'special effects' feature on photoshop is amazing: Just get a picture of me doing a straight jump, flip it, and Bobs' your uncle ! Or else you could superimpose my face on Bens' body and airbrush out the hairs.

Happy new year to you all (including Sian and Jade)
