The house is also called "Sapphire" and was built by an Armeniant merchant Torosz, in the 2nd quarter of the 17th century.
Thanks to a well preserved facade we know how the typical Armenian house looked like.
The facade is decorated with a geometrical and plant frieze.
The name of this hose comes from grotesque figures of a married couple located in the attic.
