Monument to Nicholas Copernicus by the Danish sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen, with compass and armillary sphere, stands in front of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
All the time very high temperatures (35 C in Warsaw right now).
The water curtains throughout Warsaw are still operating between 10 am - 6 pm in the city's busiest areas, to allow people to cool off from the heat.
Water curtains are generally used by fire rescue teams to separate areas from fire.
With temperatures reaching over 30 degrees Celsius, the 4 metre curtain of water has found a new use, which we all like very much.
