At the Hoover square in Warsaw. The name of president Hoover was given to this square in 1922, as the proof of thankfulness for American help to Poland.
Prior to his presidency, Herbert Hoover personally headed the U.S. effort to help Poland survive the ravages of the Bolshevik War.
The U.S. provided half a billion meals to starving Poles, including meals for more than one million children every day.
The original monument which was built in 1922 was destroyed in World War II. Today a memorial stone is in its place.
