Opened in Febr. 2007, Zlote Tarasy, which translates as "Golden Terraces," is a shopping and entertainment complex designed by The Jerde Partnership that visually connects indoor and outdoor spaces through a massive glass ceiling.
A three-level retail center, housing shops, restaurants, and a multiplex cinema, is formed from terraces, just as the complex's name suggests, that overlook the interior plaza.
Since its conception, the project has garnered such awards as the "Best of Show" from MAPIC/Plaza Retail Future Project Awards in 2005.
