Q - Quintet

Warsaw, Poland view map

Kapela Praska, "The Praska Band", symbolises the spirit of the people of Warsaw.
This monument in brass, enveiled in Sept. 2006, presents a vivid folklore of the city, the very popular so called "yard bands", wandering in the streets and yards of the city and playing for money.
When you send an SMS to the given number choosing one of 100 Warsaw songs, the monument will play it for you :)

P.S. As some of you have noticed the lights system under the monument, here is the photo showing how it looks like at nigh with the illumination on:

Fantastical idea and accomplishment! I think "brass" was the best choice of medium for the subject. What song would you choose for them to play? Was there a festival for the unveiling of the sculptures?
