I spent a very pleasant day, today, pottering around Whitstable in Kent.

I talked to this fascinating character who booked acts like Roy Orbison, Gene Vincent,
Little Eva and Jo Brown to perform in the dance halls and airbases of Kent in the 1950's.
Then he moved onto running a mobile Disco, but he says he can't get a roadie these days
so he has more or less retired! And he doesn't like 'hip-hop' !
