A large flock of Canada Geese were taking it in turns to enter the river in smaller groups.

Once in the water they would appear to be absolutely still in the flowing current, and then on some single I couldn't sense, they would paddle down the river keeping their distance from the groups before and after them.

This shot is the moment just before they turned downstream.
