What an awful development - don't they have any planning controls in Bishop Auckland/Durham?
Did anybody object? Did Natural England not have a view? Sorry to sound so sour but my family and I love this area and have spent many happy holidays at nearby Pye Close.

At the moment it looks rather plain, reminds me of a cow byre but perhaps when the doors & windows go in
it will look better.

I agree with the character part, but in time perhaps it will gain it's own character, but will never of course be as good as original
