November surprise

I've never seen a dog rose flowering in November before,
has the world gone mad?

an interesting sight! Certainly very unusual for November!

Wonderful in the Autumn sunlight, it is certainly a strange year we have many roses coming out and the lavender is re blooming! V

How lovely. Spring is springing early!
We are having rain when we shouldn't be, down here. (It's wonderful)

yes there are some oddities towards the end of a strange season and nice to see flower and hips in the same frame
We have still hardly had a frost in our corner

The world is a tad upside down, at the moment...but all the more beautiful for that.
I wonder how it effects next years blooms?
Excellent shot, Johnny...and one to treasure.
