No respect.

Some idiots were camping along the burn last week, they broke into several caravans and stole stuff including this picnic table, which they then tried to burn. They also left piles of rubbish behind. The Police have “a good idea” who they are, but have they done anything about it? You guessed.
All of this took place on private land which is open due to the 'Right to roam' act. I love living in a place where anyone has the right to roam and enjoy the beauty all around, but I believe there are some people who don't deserve that right. I also believe they don't deserve the right to breathe or breed. Ignorant b*st*rds!

I agree with your comments whole heartily. This type of behavior is endemic and widespread and makes no sense. Very sad especially for those who enjoy the freedom and the beauty this brings. Mindless idiots.

It's very hard to understand this kind of behaviour!
Cindi Smith10-Jul-2011 04:13
That's just wrong. I hope they do something about it. Idiots everywhere...no respect for anything or anyone.
Martin Lamoon09-Jul-2011 22:34
Sadly this happens in many places, pity we dont have a photo of these inconsiderate people to shame them.
Roland09-Jul-2011 22:29
It is a pity that idiots like this are to be found everywhere. No respect for
other peoples belongings, nature, animals, etc. I know a guy named Vito Bombatz
who will take care of them for about $50. :)
Brian Samuel09-Jul-2011 21:47
Mindless behaviour, lets they mature enough to regret it one day.
Mairéad09-Jul-2011 21:11
Sadly there are those who have no respect for the environment and whose idea of fun is far from fun for
everyone else.

Don't get me started! I agree only too much with you.
marie-jose wolff09-Jul-2011 20:29
it's very sad to see this beautiful countryside soiled by people who respect nothing!

Mindless slobs who spoil the countryside for everyone else. Lock em up and throw away the key.
Stephanie09-Jul-2011 20:01
People have the right to roam on private property in England? I disagree with that idea ~ why should a private landowner have to clean up after some disrespectful slob?
Patricia Kay09-Jul-2011 19:18
A sad sight to see Johnny...no respect...Its the same here out in the Islands in summer...BV
Phillip Normanton09-Jul-2011 19:16
Shoot 'em - and not with a camera!
Zak09-Jul-2011 18:37
you're welcome to that kind of tourist...

Its everyones right to live in a clean and healthy environment, if they take that away from others they loose all their rights, simple , but none of our lilly livered MP's will ever do it.
Guest 09-Jul-2011 16:41
They should lose the rights that the rest of us take for granted, instead of campaigning for more.
globalgadabout09-Jul-2011 14:42
so disappointing to see how widespread are the idle-minded plunderers, always fouling their nest
