Keneivels Bridge

A bit of a rubbish picture from the weekend.
The council notice says that a section of the footpath is closed. In fact it got washed away
in the October floods when a large tree (not the one in the water now)
took out the middle of the bridge. They haven't decided how or when to replace it.
It used to be called Kenneths Bridge.

perhaps they'll install an indiana-jones-style rope and slat bridge that breaks just as the baddies get halfway across it.

It's always sunshiney on the other side of the bridge!

I hope it doesn't take 93 yrs to replace it like it did in our town :>)

Could do with the lead ramp up a couple of degrees !
Are you sure Dirk Bogarde, Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Gene Hackman and a few others haven't been around ? ;-)
Mairéad11-Dec-2008 22:20
It would be a shame if they don't repair it.

Watch that last STEP ;-) Hope they figure it's worth repairing.

If your waiting for the local council to replace it you better get yourself some chest waders, your in for a long wait. Where is it?
