struggling on manfluly

This weekend is the Durham Pbase meet. For months now I've been rigorously avoiding doing any sort of organisation or preparation, and now I've got man flu ...... typical!
If I stay off work Mrs Johnny will think I'm not well enough to go to Durham so I'll just have to struggle on.

A hot toddy is the answer...or better still, make it a couple. Then you will be able to stage a "miraculous recovery" by Friday evening!!

I`m sure you know the rules...if you're too sick to go to work, you can`t go out to play! So you had better get well quick...you can`t miss a Pbase outing!

Just ask MRS JOHNNY HOW...I imagine she's managed to cope with girlie flu & a dozen other events all at once...of course I hear you say, man flu is worse...well don't, or I'll clip your ears when I see you !! ;)

That's the spirit! You can do it, Johnny.

No flu here but a wicked chest cold and cough for almost three weeks :-( 'Bout at the end now. Worked through it to fever and all. I guess it was better than exposing the kids. Quick recovery John.

Oh no!
Hope you are soon well and can make it, but should the worst come to the worst, perhaps you can send Dolly in your stead.

That's always a dilemma. Hope you're better for the weekend.
Plenty of hot drinks might do the trick.

Not the dreaded manflu?! If you survive to Friday, you should be able to make it... :))
