This statue of Dr. Sun, revered as the founder of modern China after he led the 1911 revolution which put an end
to imperial rule, stands in front of the house where he lived between 1918 and 1924. This house is just a block
down Sinan Road from the Zhou Enlai house in the part of Shanghai known once as the French Concession.
