This is very sad actually. They have denied vehicular access to one of the most
interesting parts of the Northern Moor to the less able who not so long ago were
still able to enjoy a 5 mile circuit of this part of Dartmoor.
It has to do with permissory paths, track road maintenance costs,
and sheer bloody minded determination to keep cars out whenever a chance exists.
So concrete blocks with the potential to wreck sumps get sunk in the road and 50 yards of
tarmac track get ripped up before it commences again. Nice one.
